| German Restaurant The Zum Brunnwart is a traditional yet modern restaurant which is tucked away on the edge of the Englischer Garten in Munich’s Schwabing district. The restaurant has a past and a future. Under new management and with a modern interior design, it still feels like a cosy country house. It offers high-quality home-style cooking and Bavarian specialities, such as pretzel, half a roast chicken and Steckerlfisch (fish on a stick). The Zum Brunnwart can seat 200 diners indoors and twice as many in the beer garden. Apart from high-quality Bavarian dishes, the restaurant has a lunch menu which varies every day and special offers, such as Riesenschnitzel (giant schnitzel) and an all-you-can-eat roast pork buffet. There is even a self-service area under the chestnut trees out in the beer garden. Guests can bring along their own snacks and try out the large selection of different beers.
