The “Zom Bäcka Dais” wine bar in Stuttgart is a really light and airy restaurant, which has been located here since 1903.

’Enjoy tradition’ is the bar’s motto, and things are designed to remind you of years gone by, from the sofas to the grandfather clock and original photographs.

In accordance with this traditional theme, the menu includes original Swabian roast joint, homemade Swabian pockets (pasta squares filled with meat and spinach) with potato salad, as well as choice fish dishes and chef’s recommendations which change on a daily basis. The lunchtime set menu is varied daily and gives you a taste of what is on the main menu. There are also daily special dishes, which are often ideal for Stuttgart’s businessmen with limited time.

The meal is rounded off with a choice of finely prepared desserts, digestifs and predominantly regional wine. There is a large selection available from the cellar and all of them are of the highest quality.

In good weather you can also enjoy Zom Bäcka Dais’s beer garden. For celebrations you can also hire either the whole place for up to 80 people, or just the sunny adjoining room which holds 30 people and can be accessed by a separate entrance.
