Over the last 17 years the Don Giovanni, which is a hotel and restaurant in Leipzig, has been treating diners to a culinary selection of dishes from all over Italy. In 2010 the chef Michele Natale won the Oskar Cucina Italiana award in Siena. His Mediterranean cuisine offers an exciting blend of flavours and spices, and the candlelit dinners and cookery courses are worth writing home about. There is a wonderful winter garden replete with lemon, olive and palm trees and a fountain with the soothing sound of running water that will make you feel you were on some Italian piazza. In the summer sit out on the Mediterranean-style terrace - an ideal setting for you to enjoy fine Italian cuisine and the Italian joie de vivre. There is a tram stop on Schwartzestraße so getting here by public transport is very easy. The Don Giovanni is situated in the southern suburb of Kleinzschocher and if you were driving from the city centre you can get here in less than 15 minutes.
