In a peaceful rural area, the location of Restaurant Unterschweinstiege is delightfully calm, and yet very near to Frankfurt Airport.

Right in the Stadtwald (city forest), the restaurant belongs to the Airport Hotel Steigenberger and welcomes both local diners and visiting guests. The food is served in a 250-year old forester’s house, with the menu featuring regional rustic dishes with specialities from Hesse. The menu changes according to the season and themed evenings offer further opportunities to experience new styles of cooking. In the summer months, the mouth watering offerings from the lava stone barbeque on the summer terrace are a particular attraction.

The Unterschweinstiege restaurant is also just the right setting for family celebrations, with seating for 180 people in the restaurant and terrace seating for 200 more.
