Enjoying a good meal in pleasant company is one of the most satisfying plaesures in life, especially if the place is out of the ordinary. The Trader Vic’s chain of restaurants has been offering its customers precisly that for over 70 years.
It was in 1934 when Victor Jules Bergeron, the founder of the chain, opened his first restaurant in Oakland, California to offer his clients extraordinary dishes in a uncomparable ambiance.

Nowadays Tader Vic’s has more than 20 restaurants in the best places all around the world. There are many Trader Vic’s restaurants in 5-star hotels like for example in the Hilton Hotel in London or in the Marriot Garden River Side Hotel in Bangkok.

They all have in common the uncomparable recipes that have made the restaurant famous. Among the classical Polinesian food there are also delicacies from the French, Creole, Oriental and American cuisine, a variety which cannot be found very often.
In addition there is an attactive range of cocktails, which include many own creations of drinks like for example the famous ?Mai-Tai?. The cocktails are carefully prepared with many ingredients and finally taste wonderfully.

It is the extraordinary and also invitating and comfortable atmosphere which attracts many guests. The decoration made out of wood and bamboo as well as the Tikis, the typical Polinesian statues, create a special ambiance, underlined by the colourful uniforms of the staff.
