Artwork by the designer Philippe Starck and artist Peter Kuckei has brought a certain je ne sais quoi to the Atelier at Berlin’s Maritim Hotel, bringing a gallery-style ambiance to the venue. A team of top chefs and waiting staff are on hand to pamper guests. The cuisine is now served up complete with a truly special rating as since January 2007 the Atelier officially became the first Berlin hotel to be bio-certified, offering dishes in its restaurant made from 100% ecologically cultivated ingredients. This is combined with ever-changing attractions, fine artwork and gourmet dining.
