La Bocca is an urban pizzeria and wine bar located in the heart of Mill Avenue. This upscale eatery features a candlelit interior, plush sofas and a mix of Italian, French and Latin music. The kitchen, under the direction of Chef Albert Bilotti, offers gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, bruschetta and salads. The best kept secret however is the recipe for the dough. It is made with a mix of specialty flours and takes 24 hours for the dough to rise, which gives it that crispy texture and bubbly crust that diners love. La Bocca strives to use organic produce sourced from local farms in Arizona and California whenever possible, as well as source organic cheeses from the Midwestern United States.
