The Hippopotamus restaurant and grill is found in the heart of Strasbourg close to the old wine market. Meat lovers will adore this restaurant, the focus at Hippopotamus is on red meats of the finest quality where you may choose from 1.4kg prime rib of beef, 180g rump steak, and 200g beef steak. Other dishes include huge salads, exotic Asian dishes and grilled tilapia and a great selection of hamburgers. There are some great fixed price menus with 2 courses coming in at just 17 Euros and 3 courses at 30 Euros. Kids menus are just 7 Euros. If you dine at Hippopotamus on the same day you go to the cinema then you’ll receive a 5 Euro discount upon presentation of your ticket. Those who lunch after 2.30pm will receive a 30% discount and students receive a 20% discount on certain evenings.
