The Gasthof Sonne is in Seehausen, right on the edge of the town. It has a wonderful view of the Alps and the Staffelsee which is only 10 minutes away. The Sonne is an ideal place to drop in for a snack after going for a walk. They serve typical Bavarian delicacies and delicious, homemade cakes. The restaurant has a comfortable dining rooms and a beautiful beer garden. This is an attractive place to go and sit in the summer, and its little play area makes it a popular place for families too. The Sonne is a first-rate venue for parties. It has a lounge which is full of character, as well as a cosy Kaminstube (fireside lounge). The Sonne can accommodate up to 100 guests for all kinds of occasions. The Sonne also has two bowling alleys for those who do not just want to be bowled over.
