Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, with two AA Rosettes to its name, the cosy, oak-beamed restaurant of the ivy-covered Macdonald Bear Hotel serves modern British cuisine in traditional surroundings. Situated in the small Oxfordshire town of Woodstock, you can enjoy a morning coffee before sampling the selection of summer cocktails during the season, or try the range of light meal on the secluded courtyard terrace. Conveniently located at the back of the hotel, it is the perfect sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the town. When winter arrives, the restaurant lights its open fire in the bar to create a warm and cosy atmosphere, ideal for getting together with friends and family for a light snack or a drink. Additionally, the Churchill Lounge on the first floor invites you to unwind with a traditional afternoon tea, and private rooms are available for up to 30 guests seated.
