Having just had a beautiful new baby boy, my wife and I decided to make full use of the Grandparents babysitting duties and venture out for a romantic weekend to Bristol. We were tired and cranky after many sleepless nights and the smallest flaw would have set us off. Thankfully, San Carlo gave us no cause for complaint as everything was exquisite. As soon as we walked in, we escaped our regular, everyday lives and were taken back 5 years to when we were first dating. It really was lovely. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed and the service was top notch. However, the best aspect was the delicious food. This is what all Italian food should taste like! We will definitely be back (when we get a chance!!) and have already recommended it to friends.
