Situated opposite Minster Court on Mincing Lane, with views of the stunning bronze horses guarding the entrance, Davy’s newest wine bar combines a typically Victorian feel with some modern finishes both in the bar area and the dining room. The menu is well-balanced, offering a mix of notably healthy options and filling favourites. The steaks in particular are sourced from one of Scotland’s finest butchers. There is plenty of space to sit or stand whilst enjoying a good array of bar snacks and drinks. The wine list offers Davy’s typical fine wines and also features some Cru Classe Bordeaux, top Burgundies and a sensational vintage Port. The spacious, yet well laid out dining room can seat over 100 people, and there are also four private dining areas, which can be ideal for meetings and offer service at the ring of a bell.
