French Restaurant

The Café Sud is in an excellent location in the 8th district of the French capital, a short distance from the Champs-Elysées, the Opera and the Madelaine. It is nestled in a splendid Parisian street filled with Hausmann buildings not far from the main shopping areas. As the name suggests the restaurant faces south and is bathed in sunlight in the summer. It is a great lunch or dinner venue with soft jazz music in the evening. The food is imaginative to say the least. Start with duck foie gras lightly sauté in Port or with melt in your mouth artichokes and coriander pesto. For the main course you will find classics such as rack of lamb roasted with time and roast potatos with parsley. The produce is the best in France and can be accompagnied by an excellent wine.
