Aquum Lounge
The creators of Aquum, winner of London’s Best New Bar at the 2010 London Bar Awards, proudly opens its sister venue Aquum Lounge. As an intimate and relaxed version, the stylish and contemporary new restaurant and bar sits on the High Street in the heart of Esher.

Offering guests delicious cocktails and beautifully prepared food in sleek and eye-catching interiors, the new venue is already proving a hit with its sophisticated and discerning, not to mention celebrity guests.

With capacity for 100 guests, including room for 40 seated, the atmosphere and ambiance at Aquum Lounge is one of opulence. A back lit dramatic marble bar is set amongst white walls and grand metallic mirrors. The cleverly shifting lights, reflect across the space and cause the whole atmosphere to seamlessly glide from day to evening - meaning Aquum Lounge lends itself to everything from post work drinks, and relaxed meals to high octane partying.

The bar hosts the finest DJs, handpicked to guarantee an unrivalled pleasurable experience for the chic crowd. There is also a high quality PA for live performances. As the weather warms, revellers can make use of the handy outside space.

Experienced mixologists have devised an extensive cocktail menu and there are drinks to suit every mood with the menu split into “Long and Laid Back” or “Short and to the Point”. There are also the classics that no cocktail menu should be without, and a great variety of champagne and Martini based concoctions.

Examples from the menu include:
- Fool’s gold - Mesmerizing combination of gold and champagne. Has to be seen to be believed.
- Chocolate martini - Cariel (vanilla vodka), chocolate cocoa powder, fresh cream, Mozart Black and Frangelico.
- Orchid orchard - Cariel vanilla vodka, Liqueur 43 and sugar with fresh lime, mint and apple juice.

The head chef has designed a modern European menu, which offers a range of home-made burgers, salads and a variety of char-grilled dishes along with lighter options and an extensive range of bar snacks.

Examples from the menu include:
- Breaded Goats Cheese served with pineapple with truffle honey - £5
- Antipasto Skewers served with mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, with mixed olives - £4
- The American Burger- served with Monterey Jack cheese, crispy bacon, onion rings £9
- Chicken and Pancetta Salad- char-grilled corn fed chicken, crisp pancetta, olives, parmesan, spinach in a lemon, honey and mustard dressing £9.50
