The James Joyce in Zurich is a typical Irish pub with an authentic and historic feel. Its wall tiles, Irish paintings, mahogany bar, leather seating (in British racing green) and elaborate lighting makes the interior reminiscent of Dublin and its pubs. The food and drinks menus with homemade hamburgers, sandwiches, fish and chips and 12 different types of beer accentuate the Anglo-Irish feel. Moreover, the James Joyce also serves other European dishes such as scalloped beef tartar, salmon and roast beef. The wine cellar, which is part of the bar and offers some 900 types of international wine, is regarded as unique as Zurich. The restaurant area can seat 60 people and is complemented by a terrace with a summery look which can seat another 40 people.
