Clas Browall opened this inn, now known as Clas på Hörnet, in the year 1731. Down the years, historic figures such as King Gustav III and national poet Carl-Michael Bellman, have enjoyed its hospitality and the restaurant has also seen a number of name changes.

Right now, The White Guide rates Clas på Hörnet as providing one of the twelve best gastronomic experiences in Stockholm. Thanks for this must go to the succession of great chefs who have manned the kitchen in recent years.

It’s worth visiting the restaurant to try classics such as beef à la Rydberg and specialities such as seafood casserole with saffron aioli, or roast breast of duck with fig.
