International Restaurant

Babar is located on Gothenburg’s most imposing boulevard, Avenyn, within walking distance of the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre (Svenska Mässan), Scandinavium and Ullevi arenas and the Lorensberg theatre. The restaurant is owned by brothers Krister and Bengt, who since 1990 have served exclusive, international and well-prepared dishes to suit various budgets. The environment is minimalist yet cosy. The entire restaurant can be booked for parties in the summer months, for groups of up to 100 people. The menu includes both classic dishes and exciting new combinations. The á la carte menu is changed regularly and is varied in price and content. Tastings of wine and other drinks are held regularly for groups of more than 10. A two course set menu is offered every week for 245 SEK, with a 3-course menu costing 315 SEK.
