A part of the famous Mailbox shopping centre, Zizzi is a unique and exciting Italian restaurant in Birmingham. Echoing The Mailbox’s deep red colour scheme, Zizzi is split into 2 main areas. The raised floor area is great for large tables or parties with some funky light fittings to get you and your friends into the party mood. The lower area towards the large window frontage draws more on the canal and outdoor theme, with floating cloud-like light fittings hanging dreamily overhead. The walls are adorned with vintage mail sorting boxes and Zizzi artist Richard Sanderson has taken the themes of the area to produce a wall mural, inspired by journeying canal boats meandering along the river. Zizzi restaurants are passionate about simple Italian cookery. Whether it’s pizza or pasta, salads or risotto, or carne and pesce (meat and fish), each dish is prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients - from the popular classics to Zizzi’s own innovations - ensuring that you can enjoy a great Italian dining experience, at any of Zizzi’s Italian restaurants around the country.
