Every morning the chef at the Straubinger takes a stroll on the Viktualienmarkt nearby and gets his fresh ingredients there. While he is preparing the daily meals, you can start the day at 10 am in the Gaststube with the traditional Bavarian breakfast of Weißwurst (white sausage). The Straubinger has been serving Bavarian cuisine for the last 150 years, and this is still the case today. The restaurant serves reasonably priced lunchtime delicacies from Mondays to Fridays. These even come with a guarantee that they will be on the table within ten minutes, otherwise they are free of charge. It is called ?Lunch? in New Bavarian. The Straubinger also has a beer garden. But the dining room is so beautiful with its brick walls that it is also a very pleasant place to sit. The dining room can sit 130 guests.
