| Locally Sourced Restaurant  Traditional, modern with a whiff of Italy - the Weihenstephaner Schliersee restaurant, situated directly in the train station, delivers basic, down-to-earth, yet high class cuisine to the table. In the kitchen, only fresh ingredients from the local region are used and the beer originates from the local Bavarian brewery Weihenstephan in Freising. The set menu offers surprises, such as: Weihenstephaner Brew House goulash, made from Bavarian Ox-neck with red cabbage and dumpling and salad; pink, diced and fried Wiesen lamb with rosemary, braised vegetables and country potatoes; or caramelized vanilla cream. The daily menu, like the culinary themed weeks make for additional change.
