The Safranhouse is the place where the Orient comes to Friedrichstadt. The restaurant is dominated by red and beige colours. It also has wood and a lot of green colours.

Visitors enter the restaurant through a pointed arch. They find themselves in a place that looks as if it has come straight out of 1001 Nights. It also has some traditional features - you are bound to feel good here. The restaurant is popular with people of all ages. The staff are well versed in the arts of hospitality.

You can try out the argan oil, which is fantastic. The chef Hassan offers a range of dishes including goat’s cheese mousse and couscous with half a lobster. You simply have to try the various types of tajines (a kind of stew).
