At the same time as Gothenburg grows and reveals itself to the world, Ritz throws open the doors to one of Gothenburg’s most beautiful buildings. You’ll find the Ritz on Bastionsplatsen, a newly discovered square located near Vallgraven, Gothenburg’s famous moat. The restaurant’s ambition is to create a place suitable for a variety of occasions: a company celebration, a romantic dinner or meeting up with an old friend. You can choose between a number of menus, with a selection of French classics and traditional Swedish home cooking. For example, tournedos Moulin Rouge served with Madeira sauce and puréed potato seasoned with roasted garlic; lemon baked back of monkfish served with tuna sashimi, soya butter and terrine of potato and savoy cabbage; or the Ritz’s version of the Swedish classic, beef à la Rydberg.
