The Sonnin is named after the architect who designed the St Michaelis church in Hamburg. The restaurant offers seating for 180 guests and is popular with hotel guests, tourists and people from northern Germany. Delicious smells come from the show kitchen and the adjoining buffet area. The food also looks fabulous. Everything is presented very tastefully. The lunchtime menu offers excellent value for money and this goes down very well with local office workers. The restaurant offers a good selection of red and white wine - served by staff who know their job. Muted colours with a lot of brown and white, leather and a modern look will make you feel at home. There is also a terrace in the quiet inner courtyard.
