The Haus Hammersbach is a hotel restaurant steeped in history. It is situated in a tourist area ? by a mountain stream at the foot of the Zugspitze massif. The hotel has a traditional Bavarian country house feel. It offers guests and ski tourists a choice of two restaurants, two bars and a bistro. The restaurants offer a late-riser breakfast every day and local dishes too. The menu offers variety with regular special promotions, including game and pumpkin themed weeks, fondue and Bavarian evenings. A Kaminbar and Nostalgiebar offer the allure of a crackling log fire and an original collection of artefacts depicting the history of the German railway. The bistro has a Mediterranean feel and is a suitable venue for a cosy get-together over coffee and homemade cakes. The Haus Hammersbach was once a chapel of St. Mary. It can seat 370 people indoors and another 100 people out on the terrace.
