In a traditional yet quirky setting, guests can enjoy locally sourced food cooked beautifully and simply, with parts of the building date back to the 13th century, when Carmelite monks carved the oak beams which are still in place today. Cosy nooks and crannies, low ceilings and wonky floors all contrast with a 21st-century glass atrium, and guests can dine next to real log fires when it’s cold outside.
