The oldest French restaurant in London. Mon Plaisir on Monmouth Street near Covent Garden has been the home of the finest French cuisine for over half a century. Mon Plaisir has an authentic French ambience throughout, from the knowledgeable and attentive staff to the pewter topped bar, originally featured in the lounge of a Lyonnais brothel. Each of the four dining rooms is completely individual, yet resonates with the nostalgic atmosphere of decadent France in the 1940’s. Just as genuine and hedonistic as the decor, the food at Mon Plaisir boasts the best of traditional and modern French cuisine.
