The Markthaus am Wilhelmsplatz used to be a tool shed for Offenbach’s market traders. But nowadays Jörg and Eric Münch manage a restaurant that serves a menu which combines tradition with innovation. They are passionate about using seasonal produce from the local area - helped, of course, by their proximity to the weekly market. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Markthaus until midday (3:00 p.m. on Sundays), and reasonably-priced meals are served at lunchtime. There is seating for 45 inside, and on a fine day for a further 80 on the terrace, where guests can watch the world go by on Wilhelmsplatz.
