The Krishna is an Indian restaurant in Munich’s Maxvorstadt district. It opened in 2008. The restaurant offers healthy Indian dishes with fresh herbs and spices using a rich mix of traditional recipes. The restaurant does not use flavour enhancers. It uses a saucepan over an open flame or a tandoor (which is a typical Indian charcoal burning clay oven) to give the dishes an authentic flavour. The Krishna also offers takeaways and special lunch menus. The menu is extensive offering traditional Indian cuisine and Bengali dishes. Children under 13 year can have smaller portions at half the price.
