Modern European Restaurant
Steeped in history, Illtud’s 216 restaurant in Llantwit Major is set in a 16th century malt house, which provides an intriguing ambience to perfectly complement the excellent selection of food and drink available.
Owners George and Einar Fuchs have set out to produce a delicious menu of seasonal comfort food all prepared using predominantly local Welsh ingredients. The menu showcases some truly mouth-watering dishes such as the Welsh Red Dragon Mustarded Sirloin Steak, Brecon Beacon Venison Haunch, braised in juniper berry sauce, and Pan Seared Sea Bass Fillet.
Additionally, Illtud’s 216 serves a children’s menu, a business lunch during the week and a traditional Sunday lunch with live music performances. The restaurant can also accommodate a range of celebratory and corporate functions, from birthdays and stag and hen nights, to meetings and team building events.
