According to the prestigious GaultMillau Guide 2011 that has awarded two crests to this floating restaurant, the Holy-Moly! Restaurant in Vienna is a “hotspot for the town’s gastronomy scene”. The Holy-Moly! am Badeschiff is situated on the Donaukanallände between Schwedenplatz and Urania in Vienna. Head chef Christian Petz’s meals have been described as “the finest”, “wonderful” and “dream like”, and the Xocolat-dessert from the manufacturer of the same name, is described as, “simple, but gorgeous”. The small, yet perfectly formed wine menu at the Holy Moly! leaves room for more. Even if you want to bring your own bottle, you are most welcome. The interior of the restaurant is unusual and angular: wooden tables covered in graffiti, fur-covered stools and a view over the water. To summarise, the Holy-Moly!
