Named a “must visit place when in Leeds” by The Leeds Tourist Guide, Hansa’s has been at the forefront of Indian vegetarian dining in Leeds and Yorkshire since 1986. Bringing vegetarian dining to the mainstream restaurant scene, Chef Hansa Dabhi blends Gujarati Vegetarian home-cooking with touches of her East African upbringing. Amongst many culinary awards, Hansa’s was named “The Best Indian Vegetarian Restaurant in the UK” by The Cobra Good Curry Guide 2013-2014. Hansa was voted “Curry Chef of the Year” by The Leeds Guide for 3 years running, and was recognised for “Outstanding Contribution to the Leeds Restaurant Industry” by the Leeds Restaurant Association in 2008.
