Opening Times:
Monday - Saturday: 6.30pm onwards
Sunday: closed | German Restaurant The Gasthaus Drei Linden in Solingen is idyllically situated by a stream and is naturally surrounded by trees. Schloss Burg with its funicular and the Müngstener Brücke (Germany’s highest railway bridge) lie nearby. The Drei Linden is an ideal place to put your feet up after a hike. In the summer you can sit quietly in the beer garden, which can accommodate 100 people, and listen to the water gurgling by. Alternatively, you can sit and enjoy your meal in the dining room which has a homely décor and seating for 54 guests. The restaurant serves delicious food from all over the world. There is a large selection of dishes, including Mexican Jalapeños, American chicken wings and German Strammen Max (a slice of bread fried in butter and covered in ham and fried egg). Bargain hunters make use of the promotion days. Monday is schnitzel day, Wednesday is pizza day, and steaks are significantly cheaper on Thursdays.
