The Kamerun near Bayreuth was once a forester’s lodge. It is now an Italian restaurant situated in an idyllic rural setting. The restaurant was established in 1932 and was once mentioned by Cosima Wagner, Richard Wagner’s second wife. It offers fine Italian cuisine. You can dine indoors or out on the secluded terrace in the summer. The menu is extremely reasonably priced and offers starters and salads, meat and fish dishes, pizzas and desserts reflecting the very best in German cuisine. The Kamerun can cater for private and business functions. Access to the restaurant is kept clear right through the winter months.
