Since 1318, this old Sion Brauhaus has been a traditional sight in Cologne, residing in an old building located in the Altstadt and serving KÃ¶lsch beer and typical Brauhaus kitchen fare to its guests. The Sion kitchen is especially known for traditional dishes like Rievkooche (fried rasped potatoes with apple sauce) or sausages. If you are in the Altstadt, do not miss the chance to sample this unique supplier of KÃ¶lsch (there are 20 different establishments and breweries in Cologne) in a historic old Brauhaus that was originally reconstructed after its destruction in 1942.
