The pearly white Rhoon Castle can be found at a beautiful spot in the Albrandswaard. Surrounded by a moat and an abundance of greenery, here you can truly drift back to the olden days. Pieter III van Rhoon built this castle in 1433 in order to get married in a lavish and exuberant ceremony and this is still possible to this day. The castle is available for weddings, parties, and/or enjoying a new style of cooking. Rhoon Castle even has its own banqueting facilities for lunches, dinners and meetings. Plus there are various different possibilities for business and festive events in one of the castle’s many rooms. Each and every one of these is as special and beautifully and authentically furnished as the next and the old Lords and Ladies of the Castle will be watching over you from the walls. Patron, cuisinier master chef Ad Janssen rules the roost and serves New Dutch dishes. You’ll be amazed by his dishes as a result of his extensive experience and major culinary and creative character. Rhoon Castle has 8 romantic castle rooms and offers a royal ambiance for groups of 10 to 400 people. You also have the option of enjoying and relaxing in the castle’s terrace garden, weather conditions permitting. You can allow yourself to be surprised with culinary delights surrounded by French hedges and rose bushes. The incredibly varied menu changes regularly and always includes seasonal primers and offers plenty of choice with unlimited a la carte possibilities. The wine list also boasts innumerable possibilities. You can try your hand at some wine tasting in the wine house. The Castle is open from Monday to Friday from 11.30 am. The restaurant opens at 17.30 pm on Saturdays and at 12.00 pm on Sundays. The kitchen closes at 22.00 pm. Credit cards and debit cards are both accepted. The Castle boasts extensive (free) parking facilities.
