It has one of Lisbon’s most acclaimed chefs in August Gemelli, who is also the owner and gave his name to the restaurant, and the food is always excellent. The restaurant offers Italian fusion cuisine, both contemporary and traditional, and through an extensive search for new ingredients, the staff are able to apply both modern and traditional cooking techniques.

The restaurant features a winding staircase which leads to a bright and elegant dining room that gently winds around the street corner like a giant bay window and is decorated with a simple yet modern elegance.
