Showcasing a modern French menu, Thackeray’s is a celebrated fine dining restaurant headed up by Richard Phillips. Once the home of Victorian novelist William Makepeace Thackeray, this traditional Kentish tile-hung villa in the spa town of Tunbridge Wells now houses a charmingly elegant restaurant. Thackeray’s served an inspired selection of modern French cuisine, with intelligently composed set menus including vegetarian and gluten-free options. A Japanese terrace offers tranquil dining al fresco.
