Located on the bustling A64 on the outskirts of York, “The Tanglewood” has just undergone a full and highly theatrical refurbishment, the walls and ceilings are covered in theatre memorabilia of stage and screen dating back to the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s creating an unforgettable dining experience.
Diners can sit back and enjoy the finest Modern British Cuisine from a menu featuring the freshest local produce, with everything from the pate to the pie pastry, to the sauces and the salmon fishcakes all homemade on the premises.

The Tanglewood can cater for up to 70 seated guests for full service in the main dining room or buffet style in various configurations. Additionally our two smaller private dining areas can seat up to 25 guests for a special occasion or just a get together with friends.
