The Restaurant is on the first floor of the Stephen Joseph Theatre, a classic 1930’s Grade II listed building, in the centre of Scarborough.
Originally the town’s Odeon Cinema. The refurbished building, known simply as the Stephen Joseph Theatre opened on 30th April 1996 and has two theatres, “The Round”, a 404-seat in the round and “The McCarthy”, a 165-seat end stage theatre / cinema.
In “The Restaurant” we serve a varied and delicious menu of modern British cuisine, freshly prepared by our team of talented chefs, using the freshest locally sourced ingredients.
With a selection of appetising starters including a fresh homemade Soup of the Day followed by main course dishes such as Belly of “Seamer Fayre” Pork, Star Anise Syrup, Wilted Spinach and Roasting Juices, Local Landed Flat Fish with Sauté Wild Mushrooms & Parsley Butter finished with a portion of hand cut chips and finish with scrumptious variety of home-made desserts.
