French Restaurant

Proviant is the new project of HÃ¥kan Thor and Mattias Edlund, previously head chef and chief executive of the prize-winning Edsbacka Krog restaurant. They serve French inspired cuisine along with some traditional Swedish home cooking. The menu features, for example, North Sea cod with wasabi flavoured cream of aubergine and stem ginger; veal schnitzel with mushroom and hazelnut and purÃ©ed potatoes seasoned with tarragon; fried sweetbreads with porcini lasagne, Brussels sprouts and truffles; and steak tartare. You can even simply pop in for a drink at the bar.
