In a time when Brick Lane was full of migrant workers, Nazrul Restaurant opened its doors to serve the local community which was mainly of Bangladeshi Origin. Soon its clientele expanded to the visitors of the area and their delight at the quality of food and value for money led to its excellent reputation. Over the years the talented Chefs at Nazrul have developed unique dishes to reflect the vibrant cuisine of the Indian sub continent. The venue has been described by many as the most sophisticated and intimately designed restaurant in Brick Lane.

As the oldest restaurant on London’s historic Brick Lane and winner of Brick Lane’s Master Chef competition 2013, Nazrul has a rich heritage of serving some of the best Indian cuisine available. Specialising in dishes from across the Indian subcontinent, the chefs at Nazrul use traditional cooking techniques and closely guarded recipes to give diners unrivalled flavours, and an unrivalled welcome also.
