The Entrecôte Café Fédéral is a traditional French bistro situated opposite the parliament building in Berne. It overlooks the water feature on the Bundesplatz (Federal Square), has Mediterranean vegetation on the terrace, French inspired regional dishes and an international wine selection - offering its mixed clientele a cosmopolitan feel. The terrace has 60 seats arranged between palm trees and box trees. The restaurant area has seating for about 100 people arranged over two floors. The cosy interior conveys simple elegance, zeitgeist and a cosmopolitan feel. The restaurant uses home-grown and locally sourced ingredients and a fixed choice of dishes ensuring that the food is fresh and of good quality. The Entrecôte Café de Paris is the speciality of the house and is one of the highlights on the menu.
