Once famous for good Bavarian fare, this restaurant has adapted its style after its much needed modernisation and extension in 1998 to accommodate a new thinking on food and dining. Of course, traditional dishes like roast pork are still on the menu, but there are also smaller contemporary dishes. Every day, in addition to the lunch menu, there is a particular treat, such as a delicious and inexpensive lunch special, with a meat-free alternative. Alongside the daily changing menu, you can also choose from the large classic menu with internationally known dishes. When the weather is pleasant, the staff particularly recommend the seats by or beneath the windows. If required, the nearby Oberangertheater can be used for a whole host of events, featuring a stage, all the latest technology and seating capacity for a maximum of 250 people.
