closed Sunday and Monday Evenings | Traditional Pub, Modern British Restaurant The Tollemache Arms is situated 4 miles off the A1, between Colsterworth and Melton Mowbray on the B676, in the beautiful village of Buckminster.
In February 2010, the pub was re-opened by 2 young couples, who refurbished and restored the interior to once again be part of the community. The interior has been decorated to appeal to everyone, with a main bar, dining area and library.
The Main Bar is open to everyone, their muddy feet and their dogs! Offering a selection of draught beers with a couple of local ales that change monthly, bar nibbles that the Chef prepares himself and a fire in the corner for the cold winter months.
The dining room that offers an intimacy and space between tables The menu varies daily and offers pub classics and sandwiches at lunch as well as food to push you palate. Prices range from 4-7 for Starters and 8-15.50 for mains and there are always deals to be had at lunch time.
The library has been created to offer coffee mornings, meetings, courses in the community and what has now become a firm fixture on Tuesday morning - Tolly Tots, baby group. It is also used during the evenings for pre-dinner drinks and coffees.
During the summer the Tollemache Arms, has plenty of outside seating and during the months offer a BBQ’s and Al Fresco Dining.
