Shooter McGee’s has been a neighborhood restaurant and tavern for almost 30 years, having been voted for the Best Barbeque Ribs in Town award and previous winner of the Rib Contest two years in a row (2005, 2006). The restaurant boasts a “Cheers’-like atmosphere as the staff routinely greets local residents as they stroll through the familiar doors. The secret to the restaurant’s longevity and success includes an incredible menu with food and drinks at bargain prices, combined with an experienced and friendly staff to serve every guest their evening meals and libations. There are daily specials, selected wines, draft beer of the month, and Happy Hour at the bar from 5pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
