German Restaurant

The Altes Fachwerkhaus restaurant in the Hotel Falderhof is in the oldest preserved part of the courtyard complex, which comprises the historic listed estate house south of the city of Cologne in the district of Sürth. To complement the variety of dishes on offer with all kinds of seasonal produce, a comprehensive wine selection is maintained in ideal conditions in the historic vaulted cellar. The rooms and dining areas can also be booked exclusively for parties of all kinds. The present structures, frames and beams of the timbered house date back to the period around 1700 to 1750, and were preserved almost completely intact during a comprehensive restoration of the estate house from 1984 to 1990. Thus the traditional rooms have kept their cosy and authentic character and today provide the perfect setting for occasions of every kind.
