The Chang Noi opened in Munich’s Schwabing district in 2008. It belongs to a chain which in 2002 was chosen by Gastro Award as the best Asian restaurant in southern Germany. In 2004 and 2005 it was awarded 4 stars in all categories by DelikatEssen. The restaurant serves Thai dishes with fresh herbs and spices, traditional sliced cuisine and the family’s own original recipes. There is also a lunchtime menu. Dark wood, soft lighting, lounge music and dinner jazz make the place feel modern, stylish and cosy. The wine list includes European red and white wines that go well with Thai food - and some other unusual wines. Cocktails are served in the lounge during Happy Hour at reduced prices.
