Located in the heart of the Lace Market, bluu is an institution amongst the bar and restaurant scene in Nottingham, receiving much acclaim in the Nottingham Restaurant Awards over the years and named as one of the U.K’s Top 50 Bars by The Independent. Having also won various press and industry awards, it is considered one of the best brasserie bar and music venues in the centre of Nottingham. Bluu prides itself on its seasonally changing brasserie menu, as well as the famous SRS (Sunday Recovery Service), offering one of the finest Sunday roasts in the city. The menu combines premium quality wines, spirits, beers and bespoke cocktails with great contemporary British cuisine, served from the buzzing open kitchen. Having undergone a major refurbishment in late 2006, the basement bar is now in a class of its own, with local and national DJs playing every Friday and Saturday night.
