The Relais des Buttes Chaumont is situated next to the famous park below the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre.The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming with a proprietor who loves to tell storys about the history of the area and the restaurant. In the window a cosy fire is lit and the summer there are tables available in the small garden.The menu is verging on the the gourmet with fresh ingredients that change daily. Although fish dominates the chef also offers game when in season. Try the crab stuffed with mushrooms or the pear cooked in spices and served with cinnammon ice cream. Like all good French restaurants the wine menu is of a very high standard.
