Locally Sourced Restaurant

Alea is located in the Sarriá-Sant Gervasi district in the upper quarter of Barcelona. The decoration is simple but homely, in a friendly setting with plenty of light, while the open kitchen in the entrance to the restaurant gives it a unique character.

The market-based cooking at Alea places great importance on the source of the ingredients and their quality in particular. Due to its small size, the kitchen purchases ingredients every day, which means they are always super-fresh.

The chef personally selects the fish that the restaurant offers its clients, and specialities include dishes such as confit of cod with paprika. Alea strives to make its clients feel totally at home.
